Dancing Eurydices
At the corner cafe
A concert takes part every night
Stop on the doorstep
Dancing Eurydice
Befor the first ray
It lights by dawn on the wall
Let the drunk Orpheuses
give the hugs them
The starts flow like a centuries
The night is hanging out the heavy curtains
It throws up the lacy shawl
on dancing Eurydice
The river sings under the bridge
The shadow of curved lantern dances
The black cat is rubbing the back
on the open door in the cafe
Who has got curious eyes ?
Eurydice! Eurydice!
Who has got curious lips ?
Very soon, the pink draw crawls slowly
into the horizon.
The fogs untie like a yarn
Lights go out, the thrill is gone.
The wind has sprung up on the alley
It hits into trees like a guitar string
Orpheus is singing
or the trees are humming
The black cat gets back so quiet
to the shop window
Before rooster crows
it needs melt into the aroma
The river splashes under the bridge
The dark shadow of lantern has gone.
People come to the cafe
The noice in the street as usual
And the wind dances in the street
It circes like a drunk man
It hangs out the scarf from spiders' web
in the branch.
Who has got curious eyes ?
Eurydice! Eurydice!
Who has got curious lips ?
The wind dances in the street
The fogs untie like a yarn
There is only, there is onlythe black cat.
